What is the one thing always missing from the dinner experience? The have beaches dedicated to this, but never places to eat… Until now!
A naked restaurant is about to open up in London and you better hurry to get on the list.
The Bunyadi is a pop-up restaurant coming to London this summer for three months.
‘Enter a secret Pangea-like world,’ its website promises, ‘free from phones, electric lights and even clothing and revisit the beginning where everything was fresh, free and unadulterated from the trappings of modern life.’
Sounds like an awkward dinner if you are dinning with your in-laws…
The Bunyadi – named after a Hindi term for ‘base’ or ‘natural’ – will have a naked and non-naked section, along with a changing room to cater for the former.
The joint already has a waiting list of about 5,000 people ready to grub in the nude.
The guys behind it were also behind the similarly lucrative Breaking Bad-themed cocktail bar.
“The idea is to experience true liberation,” founder Seb Lyall said.
“We have worked very hard to design a space where everything patrons interact with is bare and naked. The use of natural bamboo partitions and candlelight has enabled to us to make the restaurant discreet, whilst adhering to the ethos behind it.
“No doubt, this has been the most challenging project for us yet, which makes us very excited about it.”
